Dr. Stephen C. Rice is the Team Leader of the Church Consulting and Revitalization Team at the Ky Baptist Convention.  Before coming to the KBC, he served as Senior Pastor of four Kentucky Baptist churches.  He has served as Interim Pastor of numerous KBC churches including FBC Pikeville in 2014-15.  Dr. Rice is a graduate of Morehead State University (B.A.), Luther Rice Seminary (M.Div.), and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min.). 

Originally from Tennessee, Matthew has spent more than a decade leading worship in Kentucky Baptist churches.  Matthew and his wife, Rachel, have 5 children, and have been in Pikeville since January of 2018.  He is passionate about leading the church in gospel-centered worship and singing. Matthew received his Bachelors degree and  Masters of Divinity in Worship Leadership from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky. 

As a young man, Keenan began a career as an insurance agent. In 2010 he received the call on his life to surrender to full-time ministry and has served in full time student ministry since.  He desires to disciple teenagers and instill a passion for Christians to serve Christ by serving others through  missions. Keenan received his Bachelors degree in Christian Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Keenan and his wife, Erica, have 3 daughters and he joined FBC Pikeville's staff August 2021. 

Whitney loves the Lord and children and has dedicated her life to serving both. She has served as Children's Minister at FBC Pikeville since 2005. Her commitment to the gospel and to sharing it with kids is evident in all she does.  Whitney earned her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and her Masters of Arts in Christian Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. She and her husband Chris have one son.
